The 70-by-50-inch tile brings a substantial teak surface to a larger shower or spa layout. Made from Grade A heartwood selected from trees more than forty years old, it combines the warmth of the grain with natural oils and resistance to water and decay. The richness belongs to the wood, without added oil or a coating.

For this larger mat, keep the slats and drainage openings free of soap buildup. Wash gently with mild soap and water, use a soft-bristle brush as needed, rinse thoroughly and let both sides dry. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.

I LOVE the teak shower mats I'm using for my outdoor shower...the wood is so very soft on my feet and they fit perfectly in the enclosure....the wood is fading as was predicted....just want to verify that this type of TEAK does NOT need to be treated with oil etc. Thank you for your inquiry and I'd appreciate your feedback whether this type of TEAK wood needs to be treated with oil on occasion? I recall reading that it doesn't need to be oiled, but please confirm....

Clean gently with mild soap and water, rinse well and allow it to dry. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products. Its natural character is part of its beauty.
