Quick answers for choosing and caring for teak bath and spa pieces.
Start with seating, fast-draining footing, tub or sink organization, storage, or outdoor spa access. Shower footrests, seated toilet footstools and hot-tub steps serve different purposes. Compare the selected model’s intended use, dimensions and placement before ordering.
Our Grade A teak designs are made from oil-rich heartwood valued for water and decay resistance. Match each piece to the setting described on its product page and allow water to drain or dry between uses. For shower benches or teak pieces used under running water, rinse before first use to remove natural teak dust or residue from storage and shipping.
Measure shower and bathroom clearance, tub width, shelf height, towel storage needs, and step or bench footprint before choosing.
Mostly dry indoor pieces generally need only occasional dusting or wiping. Clean teak as needed with mild soap and water and a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush, remove residue and let it dry. For hampers, care for the teak frame separately and follow the sacks’ fabric-care instructions. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.
