A dining chair needs suitable table and arm clearance, a rocker needs room for its moving base, and deep seating or an ottoman needs space within the lounge layout. Do the linked lounge chairs include cushions?▾
The Villa and Asia deep-seating chairs linked above each list included cushions made with Sunbrella fabric. Check the selected product’s inclusions before ordering; this is not a promise that every chair in the collection includes a cushion. Care for the teak frame separately from the fabric.
Can teak indoor seating be used in humid spaces?▾
Follow the selected piece’s intended use. The teak frame or wooden surface has natural oils that contribute to water and decay resistance, while cushions and fabric have separate care requirements. Included lounge cushions do not turn a chair into shower seating or establish a wet-use rating.
What should I measure before buying?▾
Measure the full seating footprint, pathways, seat height and any rocking movement. For a dining chair, also check the table’s underside and arm clearance. For an ottoman, compare height and reach within the lounge arrangement rather than using overall chair height as seat height.
How do I care for teak indoor seating?▾
Dust or wipe indoor teak only as needed. For marks, use mild soap and water with a soft cloth, remove soap residue and let the wooden arms, seat or frame dry. Keep cushion and fabric care separate. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products to the teak.
