A compact seat, a mat or open shelves?

Which gala teak pieces should I choose?▾
Choose a bench for seating, a slatted mat for a teak floor surface, or open shelves for storage. Sun and Sky have different seat footprints; SOL mats come in rectangular and square formats; the tiered shelves offer different heights. Compare the actual model rather than choosing by the Gala name alone.
Can gala teak pieces be used in wet spaces?▾
Gala’s teak bath pieces are valued for natural water resistance. Follow each model’s intended placement, allow drainage and let wet wood dry. Before first shower or running-water use, rinse away natural teak dust or residue from storage and shipping.
What should I measure before buying?▾
Measure the full floor or storage footprint, finished height and nearby door swing. A mat should rest securely without rocking and allow the shower door to move freely. For a shelf, check tier openings as well as total height; for a seat, use its actual length and depth rather than its advertised size alone.
How do I care for gala teak pieces?▾
Clean as needed with mild soap and water and a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush. Clear residue between mat slats and around shelf joints, rinse away soap and allow top and underside surfaces to dry. Remove stored items while cleaning shelves. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.
