The Villa ottoman with arms is a cushioned deep-seating piece. Check the selected product’s dimensions and inclusions rather than assuming every leg rest is interchangeable.
Can teak leg rests be used outdoors?▾
The linked leg rests, Adirondack footstool and Villa ottoman are described for outdoor or patio use. Follow the chosen design’s placement guidance. Teak heartwood’s naturally occurring oils contribute to water and decay resistance in the wood; Textilene and the ottoman’s cushion need their separate material care.
Will outdoor teak leg rests turn gray?▾
Outdoor teak can gradually develop a silver-gray patina. This natural color change is not a defect. To refresh the golden tone if you prefer, clean the wooden surfaces gently with mild soap and water, working with the grain. Let the teak dry completely, then lightly use fine 220-grit sandpaper only if needed. This concerns the teak; do not sand Textilene or cushion fabric.
How do I care for teak leg rests?▾
Wipe the wooden leg-rest surface or teak frame only when spills or dirt need attention, using mild soap and water with a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush. Remove soap residue and let the teak dry. Keep the Villa cushion separate while cleaning its frame, and follow the cushion’s care label. Wood care does not apply to Textilene. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products to the teak.
