Build a bathroom around the tasks that matter to you: seating, a slatted mat, a tub surface or a corner footrest. This selection brings together teak bath and spa designs with different footprints and storage options. The wood’s own oils contribute to water resistance; material and placement details belong to each model. See our 5-Year Limited Warranty and full terms.
Sitting or reaching a foot-care position: use the shower-bench guide for seats and the footrest guide for that separate task. A bench with a lower shelf adds storage; a footrest is not a substitute for a seat.
A slatted floor surface: compare teak shower mats and tiles by footprint, height and fit. Open slats allow drainage; check the selected mat’s placement and that it rests securely without rocking.
Across a tub or beside a sink: use the caddy comparison to distinguish tub trays, tub seat/caddies and kitchen sink models. Follow each design’s fit guidance instead of assuming the same installation for all caddies.
Quick answers for choosing and caring for essential teak bath and spa pieces.
Choose a bench for seating, a shelf model for added storage, a slatted mat for a teak floor surface, a caddy for bath or sink organization, or a footrest for foot care. Mats offer different drainage and grip designs; check the model, fit and supporting floor rather than treating any mat as a guarantee against slipping.
Many pieces are intended for showers, baths or humid rooms. Teak’s natural oils contribute to water resistance, while the selected design determines its placement and drainage needs. Let wet wood dry. Before first running-water use, rinse away natural teak dust or residue from storage and shipping.
Measure the actual floor, tub or sink position and compare full length, depth and height. Check door clearance for a mat or bench, access to a lower shelf and the supporting surfaces for a caddy. Product-specific instructions take precedence over a collection’s general description.
Clean the teak only when needed with mild soap and water and a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush. Remove items from shelves, clear soap residue between slats and let the top and underside dry. For a mat, also clean the supporting floor according to its own instructions. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.
