Will a corner bench fit my shower?▾
Corner benches and footrests here measure about 31" along each wall, and the footrests 15". Measure both walls of the corner out from the joint, and check the swing of the shower door before choosing. A corner unit uses space a straight bench cannot, which is why it suits tighter enclosures.
Bench, footrest or shelf — which do I need?▾
A corner bench is full seating for showering or shaving. A corner footrest is a low step for resting one leg — the usual choice when there is no room to sit. A corner shelf (3 or 4 tiers) is storage only. Some benches add a lower shelf so you get both.
Does teak really hold up to daily showering?▾
Yes. Grade A teak carries its own natural oils and a tight grain, so it resists water and steam without sealing or varnish. Rinse new teak before first use to wash off the fine dust left from milling and shipping.
How do I care for it?▾
Rinse or wipe as needed and use mild dish soap only when something needs real cleaning, then let it dry. Teak never needs oiling. Left alone it weathers to a soft silver-grey; a light wash with water and a soft brush brings the warm honey tone back whenever you want it.
