Choose Coach by the bathroom task: a place to sit, a lower shelf, a corner footrest or a surface across a tub or sink. Grade A teak heartwood supplies natural oils valued for water and decay resistance, while the uncoated grain brings warmth to a shower or bath setting. See our 5-Year Limited Warranty and full terms.
A seat with or without storage: compare the 16-inch Coach bench and 16-inch Coach bench with a lower shelf. Use the shower-bench guide to compare other seating sizes and layouts.
A footrest or a tub surface: the Coach corner footrest supports foot-care routines; the 31.5-inch Coach tub seat/caddy is a separate bath design. Choose according to the selected product’s intended use and fit.
For the kitchen sink: compare the 18-inch and 24-inch Coach sink caddies. The caddy buying and installation guide includes model-specific guidance; its installation instructions exclude ACC536 and ACC537.
Quick answers for choosing and caring for Coach teak bath pieces.
Start with the task, then choose a footprint. A plain bench provides seating; a shelf version adds storage below it. A corner footrest is a different purpose from a shower seat. For a tub or sink caddy, use the model’s own fit and setup guidance rather than choosing by the Coach name alone.
Coach’s naturally oil-rich teak is valued for water and decay resistance. Use the selected model in its intended setting, allow drainage and let wet wood dry. Before first shower use or running-water use, rinse away natural teak dust or residue from storage and shipping.
For a bench or footrest, measure the full floor footprint, height and door clearance. For a shelf bench, check the storage opening as well. For a tub or sink caddy, measure the opening and supporting surfaces against that model’s listed dimensions and installation guidance.
Clean only as needed with mild soap and water and a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush. Remove items from lower shelves, clear residue between slats, rinse away soap and allow upper and underside surfaces to dry. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.
