Make room for meals or extra guests with teak folding chairs and armchairs. Compare wooden seats and backs with Colorado Textilene options, and distinguish dining seating from reclining, bar-height and Adirondack lounge designs. Grade A teak frames bring natural warmth; check each model’s folding format and footprint. Our teak furniture is backed by a 5-Year Warranty.
All-wood dining: compare the Colorado folding chair with the Colorado folding armchair. Check arm clearance and the space needed to pull the chair back from your table.
Textilene seating: view the Colorado teak-and-Textilene folding chair or folding armchair. Both retain teak frames, with Textilene rather than wooden seats and backs.
Relaxing rather than dining: compare the Adirondack folding lounger chair with longer loungers and steamer chairs. The folding format does not make different seat heights and shapes interchangeable.
Quick answers for choosing, placing, and caring for teak folding and outdoor seating.
Choose side chairs for lighter dining setups, armchairs when you want extra support, Textilene styles for a woven seat and back, recliners or loungers for relaxing, and bar-height seating for higher table or counter areas. Check each product page for the exact folding, reclining, and size details.
The linked folding chair models are described for outdoor use. Choose the design for your setting, let the pieces dry before folding them for storage and follow each product’s guidance. Grade A teak heartwood is naturally rich in oils valued for water and decay resistance. Those qualities concern the teak; Textilene seats and backs are a separate material.
Measure the seating footprint, table height, chair pull-out space, and storage area. For recliners and loungers, allow extra room behind and in front of the piece. For bar seating, confirm the height works with your table or counter before choosing.
Clean the wooden seat and back, or the teak frame and arms of a Textilene model, occasionally as needed. Use mild soap and water with a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush, remove residue and allow the teak to dry before folding. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products to the wood. Outdoor teak can naturally turn silver-gray without needing an oiling routine. To refresh its golden tone, clean with the grain, let the wood dry and lightly use fine 220-grit sandpaper only if needed on the teak. Do not sand Textilene.
