If you prefer to refresh the rich golden tone, rinse with clean water, scrub with a soft-bristle brush using warm water and mild dish soap, work with the grain, rinse thoroughly, let the teak dry completely, then lightly sand with fine 220-grit sandpaper if needed for a smoother surface.
