Will outdoor teak bar chairs turn gray?▾
Outdoor teak can gradually develop a silver-gray patina. This natural color change is not a defect. To refresh the golden tone if you prefer, clean the wooden surfaces gently with mild soap and water, working with the grain. Let the teak dry completely, then lightly use fine 220-grit sandpaper only if needed.
How do I care for teak bar-height chairs?▾
For an occasional spill or surface dirt, clean the curved wooden seat, frame and any backrest or arms gently with mild soap and water and a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush. Remove residue and allow the teak to dry. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products; the teak retains its natural oils without a routine oiling treatment.
