Create a garden or porch seating area with a Colorado or Georgia park bench, choose a suspended porch swing, or plan a wraparound tree-bench layout. Compare the seating shape, full footprint and installation needs before selecting a design. Grade A teak heartwood contains its own natural oils, valued for resistance to water and decay, and can develop a silver-gray patina outdoors. Our teak furniture is backed by a 5-Year Warranty.
Colorado park benches: compare the 47-inch Colorado and 59-inch Colorado for freestanding garden or porch seating with a back and arms.
Georgia park benches: view the 61-inch Georgia and 73-inch Georgia. Compare their depth and overall footprint with the Colorado models and the space you want to furnish.
Suspended porch seating: the Colorado porch swing bench is a different installation from a freestanding bench. Confirm the supporting structure, installation requirements and movement clearance before ordering.
Seating around a tree: explore the wraparound tree bench. Check its centre opening and full arrangement against the intended tree and surrounding space; do not infer those dimensions from a single title measurement.
Quick answers for choosing and caring for teak garden and park benches.
Choose a Colorado or Georgia park bench for freestanding seating with a backrest and arms. A porch swing is a suspended installation, while the tree bench wraps around a central opening. Compare the linked models’ complete dimensions and placement requirements; these designs are not interchangeable layouts.
The linked park, porch-swing and tree-bench products are described for outdoor settings. Follow the selected design’s placement and installation guidance. Teak heartwood’s natural oils contribute to water and decay resistance, but do not replace proper installation or occasional cleaning.
A silver-gray patina can develop naturally as the teak weathers outdoors. If you prefer its golden tone, clean the seat, back and arms with mild soap and water, remove residue and allow the wood to dry completely. Fine 220-grit sandpaper may be used lightly only if needed, working with the grain.
Remove garden dirt or spills from the wooden seat, back and arms occasionally as needed. Use mild soap and water with a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush, remove residue and let the teak dry. For the tree bench, include accessible slats around the arrangement. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.
