ARB selects Grade A teak heartwood from trees more than 40 years old. Naturally rich in its own oils, this premium hardwood is valued for its resistance to water and decay. Enjoy its lasting beauty with simple cleaning and no added finish. The elevated, slatted design lets water drain through and air circulate around the wood. Check the dimensions and shower-base shape before ordering. The mat must sit securely without rocking; contact ARB Teak if you are unsure about fit or the appropriate feet or gliders. The finished mat height is 1¼ inches (approximately 3.2 cm). Check the clearance around the shower door and drain. Contact us to confirm dimensions for a custom order. Clean natural teak with fresh water, a small amount of mild dish soap and a soft-bristle brush. Brush gently with the grain, rinse thoroughly and allow the top and underside to dry. Contact ARB Teak before using another cleaner.

We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.

Delivered quickly, well built and no need for a long odor elimination break-in period. Definitely recommend.

Jeffrey, this is wonderful to hear — thank you. Fast delivery, solid build, and no break-in odor is exactly the experience we want every customer to have. That's the beauty of properly cured, sustainably sourced teak: it's ready to enjoy from day one and will age gracefully for years. We truly appreciate the recommendation, and we're here whenever you need us.

Hi
I LOVE the teak shower mats I'm using for my outdoor shower...the wood is so very soft on my feet and they fit perfectly in the enclosure....the wood is fading as was predicted....just want to verify that this type of TEAK does NOT need to be treated with oil etc. Thank you for your inquiry and I'd appreciate your feedback whether this type of TEAK wood needs to be treated with oil on occasion? I recall reading that it doesn't need to be oiled, but please confirm....
Thank you

Hi Beth, we're thrilled to hear you're happy with your teak shower mats! You're correct; teak naturally requires minimal maintenance and does not need to be oiled. Its beautiful aging process adds to its charm. Thank you for your kind words and for choosing ARB Teak & Specialties!

Thank you, Beth. We’re delighted your teak mats fit your outdoor shower so well. Our Grade A teak is naturally rich in its own oils, so we recommend enjoying it in its natural state. Clean gently with mild soap and water, rinse well and allow it to dry. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products. Its natural character is part of its beauty.

Your teak tile is the nicest piece of wood work I’ve ever purchased; each and every piece was finished smoothly with all the edges (including the ends) precisely chamfered. It has been a pleasure to use and to see. Many thanks.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear you love your teak tile and appreciate the craftsmanship. It's been a pleasure serving you!
