How do I care for teak patio benches?▾
Clean spills or outdoor dirt only when needed, using mild soap and water with a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush on the teak. Remove soap residue and let the wood dry; allow folding pieces to dry before storage. Outdoor teak can develop a natural silver-gray patina. To refresh the golden tone if preferred, clean and dry the wood, then lightly use fine 220-grit sandpaper only if needed. We do not recommend applying oils, coatings or any finishing products.
